Gigabyte launches GeForce GTX 760 WindForce OC with 4GB

Gigabyte launches GeForce GTX 760 WindForce OC with 4GB

Honestly, I feel it's a bit of a loss of your money, but I can see scenario's with SLI and high resolutions where you'd need more than two GB of framebuffer memory. Anyhow, Gigabyte is releasing the GeForce GTX 760 WindForce OC edition that comes with 4GB. The product comes factory tweaked for you as well at a 1085 MHz core with a 1150 MHz GPU Boost frequency. The memory is kept reference at 6 Gbps.

This particular OC model comes with a WINDFORCE 3X cooling design (with “Triangle Cool” technology) and with the heatpipes being based on Direct Heat-Pipe Touch technology (DHT). With all that said and done you now have the more important variables in your mindset, but have a peek at the product.

With a TDP at roughly 170 Watts the card won't draw too much power either, but it surely packs power, it is silent and the GPU core temperatures remain completely under control.

How is the Win8 support ? Previous (moth or two) old version does not work very well with it, but it could be a flash problem... But I did not have to problems with IE.

The only reason why I use FF is because of Greasemonkey + TACS (Tiberium Alliance Combat Simulator).
