Gigabyte launches 1200W Odin GT PSU

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 05/14/2009 04:42 PM | source: | 0 comment(s)

Gigabyte is expanding their Odin PSU series with a new 1200 Watt GT model. There already was a 1200 Watt Pro model, but this new GT version has a couple of new features. It will have six 6+2-pin PCIe connectors, ten SATA connectors and then another eight Molex connectors. So this won't be an issue for any Tri or Quad GPU setup + a little PhysX lovin as well.

The PSU will have four 12V rails. Two of them can deliver 36 A each and another two are rated at 20A.

  • Software controlled PSU, for maximum tweaks
  • Active PFC, high efficiency power circuit design, 80+ certified
  • 4-rail, +12V design, capable of supplying higher power output
  • Over-voltage, over-current, under-voltage and short
