Gigabyte Going White with the GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC 11G

Gigabyte Going White with the GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC 11G

Gigabyte will be releasing something non-standard, a white colored GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC. The Dutch people will be happy, it has orange stripes as well - oranje boven.

The card is slightly (s)lower clocked compared to the Aorus editions at 1.544 MHz/1.657 MHz in software enabled OC-modus while it will default towards 1.518 MHz/1.632 MHz in the default Gaming-modus.

The card will get a Windforce 3x cooler and has a custom (black) PCB based on a 8+2 VRM power delivery design. The cooler has five heat-pipes with a direct contact base cooling block. The card otherwise has RGB functionality and three DP 1.4 ports, one HDMI 2.0 and also a DVI connector. If you looks closely, these are still renders.

Just curious by your choice of words there why would you call it "substandard".

Dont have enough go stripes for you, Don't like the white colour?.

Not fast enough or does not cost enough money for you to warrant the purchase. Yes its not going to be as fast as the Aorus Version but it costs less.

Still a pretty decent card by the looks of it. As for gigabyte products ive been using them for many years not a single problem with them and they overclock nicely and the temps are great.

Just dont understand why you would call it substandard poor choice of a word tro use there for a card which tbh will deliver the preformance needed. But only time and benchmarks will tell :)

Maybe you need to check the meaning of the word... before tying to be a dick. For sure he uses the wrod in the context of the color since the stardar GPU are always black and this one is white.

Substandard means of poor quality.

Likely the meaning he meant was that white is different than the norm.
