Gigabyte Aorus Branded Z270 Motherboard Teased

And another Z270 tease today, this one comes from Gigabyte and is an Aorus Branded Z270 product. Here as well GBT posted a teaser on facebook.

The Intel Z270 Express chipset will get four PCI-Express x16 slots and lots of  RGB LEDs on the board with obvious overclocking features. The Aorus (Xtreme gaming series) branding is new of course, with this line Gigabyte has hiopes to compete better with the ROG branding from ASUS.

One good thing:

it seems Sata Express and NGFF connectors are finally/actually dead :)

Looks alright, but Gigabyte always has way too much writing on thjeir motherboards. If these finally do away with the writing, my next motherboard might be another Gigabyte, but otherwise I'll go with MSI (or ASUS).

It didn't say they were all 16 lanes at the same time. They all have the possibility of using 16 lanes. If you put two GPU's on there, they'll simply change to 8 lanes.

Not enough LEDs. I was going to crack a joke about adding LEDs pointlessly to something equally as ridiculous but I couldn't think of anything left aside from the monitor. Get on it Corsair. Bezel, tons of LEDs, just do it.

Dead before any SATA Express SSDs were ever released. That port on my motherboard is worthless, thanks Obama. At least those M2 slots might come in handy.
