Gigabyte and Schenker Partner up for Future XMG Gaming Laptops

Gigabyte and Schenker Partner up for Future XMG Gaming Laptops

GIGABYTE Technology, a leading company in the IT industry, and Schenker Technologies, a leading European manufacturer of gaming laptops, have agreed to a long-term partnership. Schenker Technologies and GIGABYTE will market and sell special edition high-performance gaming laptops under the successful XMG brand in the new partnership.

Schenker Technologies is a leading manufacturer of mobile gaming hardware with over a decade of industry experience. They are especially well known for their XMG gaming laptops. The company offers a full line of gaming laptops, including a product line for entry-level customers, as well as a pro series line for advanced and professional eSport gamers. XMG will now offer their customers further gaming products, featuring gaming laptops with cutting-edge design, as well as top of the line hardware.

GIGABYTE established the sales and distribution of their gaming laptops in Europe in 2011. Since then, there have been a number of new models and upgrades, however up to now customers have not been able to customize these laptops. It is precisely this market gap that the two companies hope to capture with the new "XMG CORE Series, powered by GIGABYTE" gaming laptops. This product line will offer selected GIGABYTE gaming laptop models, which can be fully customizable at the point of purchase.

"We are looking forward to a very promising partnership with Schenker Technologies for the European market", said Vincent Liu, Director of Sales Division for GIGABYTE Technology. He added, "The increasing demand, especially in the configurable gaming laptop sector, was the deciding factor for us in expanding our portfolio."

"Gamers really put a lot of stock in the performance of their hardware and the ability to customize their products as they see fit", explained Robert Schenker, Founder and Managing Director of Schenker Technologies. "But ever increasingly we have received requests for laptops with a certain element of additional lifestyle-characteristics and a more elegant design. Precisely for this reason, GIGABYTE will be the perfect partner for us, with their well-thought design and high-quality quality."
