It's been rumored that new variants of the GTX 1650 based on a TU106 (RTX 2060/2070) would make their way on the market, and today Galax announced the first TU106-based "GTX 1650 Ultra", the card has 896 Shader Cores and 4GB GDDR6, which is rather similar to a normal GTX 1650 GDDR6.

While the TU106 core might be carved out of the RTX 2070, it's been massively cut-down, not only reducing its amount of Shader Cores, but also reducing the memory bus with to 128 bits. The GPU used is given the denominator TU106-125, which has been cut back by more than 60 percent in terms of Shader cores, neither does the card have any RT Cores or Tensor Cores enabled. It shares the same boost at 1590MHz as the normal GTX 1650, so having the same amount of shader Cores, graphics memory, and the same frequencies, it is practically the same graphics with veryu little "Ultra" left other than the name.

The card shows a TDP of 90W compared to the 75W of the standard GTX 1650. The Ultra suffix is not something from NVIDIA , but has been applied by Galax themselves.
