GeForce RTX 4090 is listing at Newegg for 1,599 up to $1,999.

GeForce RTX 4090 is listing at Newegg for 1,599 up to $1,999.

Nvidia's top-of-the-line GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards on October 12, U.S. retailers are listing custom GeForce RTX 4090 24GB graphics boards from Nvidia's partners. Some RTX 4090 products cost $1,599, which is what Nvidia recommends, but others cost a lot more.

One of the biggest stores in the U.S., Newegg, is currently listing 10 GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards from different Nvidia add-in-board (AIB) partners, such as Asus, Gigabyte, and MSI

Some of Nvidia's partners' cheapest GeForce RTX 4090 boards use the company's reference design and the GPU clock rates that Nvidia recommends. For example, the Asus TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090, the Gigabyte Windforce GeForce RTX 4090, and the MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 all cost $1,599 and have cooling systems with three fans that are quite complex.

The Asus ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 is the most expensive GeForce RTX 4090 AIB. It has factory overclocking and a huge cooling system with three fans, which probably gives it good overclocking potential. This one will cost $1,999.99. Asus ships the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 in a box so big that you could fit an arm and a leg in it. This helps owners understand where the extra money went. Asus also sells its TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 which has been overclocked at the factory for $1,799.99.

The MSI Suprim GeForce RTX 4090 is another exciting card that Newegg sells. It has a hybrid cooling system and a higher GPU clock than other cards in its class. The price of the item is $1,749.99. More AIB partners of Nvidia will have their GeForce RTX 4090 products ready to ship by October 12, so keep an eye out.

Something just came to my mind: Why not buy one and have it sent to my relatives in Canada, who then ship it to me? I could literally save hundreds of € there. ez clap.

Customs in denmark have begun to hit hard down on that... they stop every package that comes into denmafk, and make you pay 20% of what you paid for the product + commision, so the product ends up being as expensive or more expensive than if you had just bought it in denmark.

Recently bought a new controller for my speakers - price from the US store was 40 usd... price i ended up paying with shipping, customs and commision was roughly 100 usd...

While Nvidia has certainly priced these rather high, they can't be blamed for the collapse of the euro, and what Putin's war is doing to eastern European economies and our currencies (having populists in power doesn't help here, either).

As long as the dollar reigns supreme, these are the prices we have to live with.

What?? You are aware all 4000 cards went up in price in USD as well. Yes Euro lost some value, but what Nvidia did with 4080 pricing is indefensible. I also want to point that that USD gained a lot vs Chinese Yuan and Taiwan Dollar, so this is win win win for Nvidia.

4090 vs 3080 +100 USD
4080 vs 3080 +500 USD
4080 12GB vs 3070 +400 USD
