Check it out, images of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Founders Edition PCB with the AD103-based RTX 4080 16 GB. The image shows an asymmetric PCB form compatible with the Founders Edition dual-axial flow-through design.

The card is powered by a 16-pin ATX 12VHPWR connector and looks to include a 16-phase VRM. The PCB features a lot of blank VRM phase traces, but only eight memory-chip pads to correspond with the AD103 silicon's 256-bit wide GDDR6X memory interface.

The AD103 silicon has a rectangular die that appears to be roughly the same size as previous-generation NVIDIA GPUs with 256-bit wide memory interfaces, such as the GA104. Because the AD103 GPU is likely pin-compatible with the smaller AD104, at least in terms of substrate size, the RTX 4080 12 GB and 16 GB variants are designed with minimal PCB design R&D effort. The display output configuration is unchanged as the RTX 4090, with three DisplayPort 1.4a and one HDMI 2.1a. On November 16, NVIDIA is anticipated to release the GeForce RTX 4080 for $1,199 USD (MSRP).
