The RTX 4070 is anticipated to provide 27% less computational prowess and feature slightly scaled-down specs, such as a 36 MB L2 cache and 5,888 CUDA cores. The GDDR6X memory operates at a 1313MHz clock speed, with a memory bandwidth of 21 Gbps, and a base clock that can be boosted to 2,535 MHz. The official release is slated for April 13th, while initial test results are expected to emerge a day prior. The RTX 4070 is projected to be priced at approximately ~700 euros in the EU. Rumors suggest that the first RTX 4070 test results will be unveiled soon, providing users with ample opportunity to assess the GPU's suitability for their needs. The Zotac model of the RTX 4070 that underwent validation substantiates the previously anticipated technical specifications, including a reduction in level 2 cache from 48 to 36 MiB compared to the RTX 4070 Ti.

With matching memory expansion, the RTX 4070's price is likely to hover around 700 euros, ensuring a comparable price-performance ratio to the RTX 4070 Ti, which starts at 889-949 euros.
