The competition for the mid-range GPU market is heating up, with AMD and NVIDIA both preparing to launch new graphics cards based on the RDNA3 and Ada Lovelace architectures.

Both companies are aiming to deliver the best possible performance in the sub-$500 price range, as demand for expensive graphics cards remains low. According to hardware leaker "MEGAsizeGPU," who has previously leaked reliable information on NVIDIA Ada, the upcoming NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti graphics card will be powered by the AD106-350 GPU. This variant features 4352 CUDA cores, slightly fewer than the full chip's 4608 cores. The card will come with 8GB of GDDR6 memory across a 128-bit memory bus, which is a downgrade from the RTX 3060 Ti's 256-bit bus.

The RTX 4060 Ti is also reportedly limited to PCIe Gen4x8, which is typically seen on low-end GPUs. This, combined with the shorter memory bus, may affect the card's performance in high-fidelity gaming. However, more details should be available when the card launches in late May / early June.
