While I'm not sure many people care too much about it, it seems GeForce RTX 3090 graphics cards with the blower cooling system are quietly being phased out.
Many manufacturers are discontinuing the RTX 3090 blower, there are still custom RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 with the same cooling system. There is no real explanation as to why they are discontinued, but my theory is simple; money.
Blower-style coolers are cheap models. Utilizing the GPUs on the more expensive SKUs will yield more revenue and in these times, they'll sell anyway. Another reason is that the cheaper cards end up in mining rigs quite a lot.
