NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3080 12 GB and RTX 3070 Ti 16 GB graphics cards have been postponed, these were expected to be announced on the 17th of December.

According to industry insiders, the unveiling of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3080 12 GB and RTX 3070 Ti 16 GB graphics cards has been postponed. NVIDIA had planned to announce both cards on December 17th, however, it appears that will no longer be the case, and the only new card that will be unveiled during the company's CES 2022 press conference will be the flagship RTX 3090 Ti.

According to reports, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti will be launched at CES 2022 and will be available for purchase just in time for the Lunar New Year celebration in China. The pricing for the graphics card is not confirmed yet but it is likely to hover at around $1500-$2000 US (MSRP). Concerning the RTX 3070 Ti, there have been reports that the card will not be released until after the Chinese New Year. In other words, we are looking at 2-3 months before the cards are actually accessible, and while this still indicates a Q1 '22 launch, it does not imply that the availability or pricing will be any better than it is for the current generation of cards.
