GeForce RTX 3060 Surfaces in AotS being 19% faster than GeForce RTX 2060

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 is to be launched soon, the first benchmarks of this graphics card started leaking. In Ashes of the Singularity (AotS) software, the RTX 3060 popped up twice and managed to hit 6800 points and 69.9 FPS in its best test, at 1080p resolution with the Crazy preset.

Both tests were carried out by the same user, who accompanied the new GPU with an Intel Core i7-8700K processor, obtaining an average of 6700 points (the other test gave 6600 points and 67 FPS). Thus, for comparison, the GeForce RTX 3060 is 19% faster than its predecessor, the GeForce RTX 2060. In addition, it manages to outperform the RTX 2070 by 9%. GeForce RTX 3060 is based on the GA106 GPU and features 3,584 CUDA cores along with 12GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit memory interface and power consumption of 170W.

And it'll also have a higher MSRP and is gonna be out of stock as well.
6700XT will likely compete with the 3060 Ti (performance and MSRP wise), not the 3060.

Pepperidge Farm remembers when an 8800GT was 80-100% better than the previous generation. Not that we'll ever see that again, but 19%? That's underwhelming.

The 2060 score used to determine the 19% value is unreliable, since several 2060 scores in the AotS benchmark page are similar to 2060 Super scores.
The 3060 score is around the 2070 Super (high 6000s), but it's better to wait for the actual reviews to judge it.

Underwhelming unless it's the right price. It puts it very close to the 5700XT which was sold for around 400-440$ USD 1 year and a half ago. So unless this card is 350$ USD top which it will likely not be then meh!
