GeForce RTX 2070 in November with 2304 shader cores

At this time we have a pretty good estimation on the GeForce RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti. This round the GeForce RTX 2070 has surfaced and is said to get 2304 shader cores.

It's not just 2070 being talked about, the RTX / GTX 2060 are now rumored to see the light of day in November. Wccftech states based on information from a board partner. Additional rumors (and they are just that) indicate that RTX 2070 will probably get 2304 cores with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory. That, however, remains speculation and is totally unconfirmed

I'll throw in another riddle, the 2060 and 2070, actually might be called GTX and not RTX as it could very well be that the high-end SKUs will get the RT cores activated. So basically the products that support hybrid ray tracing could be called RTX. I doubt it would happen as it would create so much confusion branding wise.

The RTX 2080 and the Ti versions are expected to get announced first, there is a live stream at 18:00. We'll embed it here at Guru3D, so you can watch it from your favorite place. And yes, I will be at the actual event.
