On an Asian website forum called PCEVA a member by the name of RoyalK posted specs and performance numbers of the GeForce GTX 960. The GM206-300 based graphics card seems to get an expected 1024 Shader processors, running by 32 ROPs. A GPU-Z screenshot shows 2 GB VRAM, 128-bit memory bus and 112.2 GB/s bandwidth.

The website posted screenshots of the card running 3DMark, considering that the final press/media driver is not even available yet I'd advise to take the results with a grain of salt. This product has been measured with very early beta drivers, so it seems.

If the data and specs are correct then you can look at the GTX 960 cut in half so to say in relation to shader processors, memory bus, TUs and memory volume. The GeForce GTX 960 scored P9960 in 3DMark 11 performance mode and X3321 in 3DMark 11 Extreme mode. 3DMark Firestrike shows 6636 marks in the the default performance test and 3438 marks in Extreme mode. Overclocked, the card scores 7509 marks in the default 3DMark Firestrike benchmark at clock speed of 1398/1461 MHz up from what seems to be the reference clock of 1228/1291 base/boost in MHz.

One you place the data and specs that surfaced into a chart it is slowly becoming visible as to what the GTX 960 is all about. The latest gossip indicates that the card will cost 199 USD and that is has a TDP of 120 Watt. Props go out to WccfTech for spotting this source of information.
