GeForce GTX 780 Ti Photo and Benchmarks Surface In Asia

That one website, yep .. ChipHell has a forum post where initial benchmarks of the GeForce GTX 780 Ti have surfaced. There are some photo's included as well, showing a fairly similar PCB and board design towards the GTX 780 and Titan. ChipHell posted five sets of benchmark results including 3DMark tests, Unigine Valley, Aliens vs. Predator 3, Battlefield 3, and Bioshock: Infinite.

The test setup used was a test-bed running Core i7-4960X at 4.50 GHz with  16 GB of quad-channel DDR3-2933 MHz memory. Click the thumbs, photo's and benchmarks are courtesy of Chiphell.

To be honest, idk anymore..

At first Asus 780GTX Direct CUII
Then decided to wait for custom R9-290x or custom r9-290
now kinda 780Ti, because its full GK110 and I always wanted full 15SMX high-end Kepler.

In your opinion, given the current price for GTX770 and 780, is $699 a legitimate price for the Ti's rumored performance?

I think it all depends which way you look at it. For example if you look at AMD 290 or 290x they are the best value for the buck. On the other hand 780ti most likely will outperform TITAN (cant wait for a review already) and it is $300 cheaper. So to me $699 is much better deal especially if you are enthusiast and you are looking for the best despite the cost.

I think it all depends on how good or bad Mantle is.

If that wasn't on the horizon I would definitely get a custom 780 now, even a 780ti isn't outside my price range if it has decent overclocking potential.
