GeForce GTX 650 Ti Gets Reviewed; Slower than HD 7850

Next week NVIDIA is going to launch their new mid-range graphis card called the GeForce GTX 650 Ti, however but a Korean website called PlayWares reviewed it. In terms of specifications the product seems to be in line with previous rumors as the clocks are 928 MHz on core with 5400 MHz on memory. It has 1 GB of GDDR5 memory spread across a 128-bit memory interface. PlayWares tested it with Intel Core i5-3570K, ASUS P8Z77 WS and 8GB of Samsung memory and Forceware 306.38 drivers. More after the break.

Performance wise it seems that the GTX 650 Ti is around 25-30% faster than the GTx 650 and around 40% slower than the GTX 660. When compared with its competitors from red side, itsfaster than the Radeon HD 7770 GHz edition and around 30$ slower than the Radeon HD 7850 (memory isn’t mentioned). It gains around 10% of performance when overclocked to 1000 MHz on core and 5800 MHz on memory.

How accurate these numbers are, well you'll have to wait and see our reviews in the upcoming week.

Yeah, I'm not feeling too good about these particular cards....the 660 (non-Ti) and up look great though...

These should really be priced around $150 imho...the 650 (non-Ti) should be cheaper....

According to these charts, the 460 is on par with or better than the 660.

Anyone have any grains of salt to share?

You are looking at the power consumption.

660 is ~ 50% faster than 460
