NVIDIA will release GeForce GTX 660Ti/660 next month with GTX 650 soon to follow and because of that allegedly last generation 5-series models i.e. GTX 560 and GTX 550 will soon be discontinued (End-of-Life) after NVIDIA launches the mid-tier graphics cards in August/September mark. NVIDIA is currently completing last of the orders from partners for GTX 550/560 series and after that their status will change to End-of-Life (EOL).

It was also said the GTX 660/650 series will have a total of four models i.e. GTX 660 Ti which will be based on GK 104, GTX 660 and GTX 650 Ti which will be based on GK 106 and lastly GTX 650 which will be based on GK 107.
