GeForce GTX 1650 with GDDR6 spotted on Gigabyte website
Right, so we have the GeForce GTX 1650 (896 shader processors) with GDDR5, the 1650 Super (1280 shader processors) with GDDR6 and higher shader count. To add to the confusion, AIBs are set to launch a non-super mode, 1650 with GDDR6 as well.
The GTX 1650 receives a lower boost clock but otherwise looks identical to the regular GTX 1650 with GDDR5 memory. According to the website, Gigabyte will release two models. The Gigabyte GTX 1650 with gddr6 memory entry on the website was removed, however, a small model with a single fan and a WindForce OC model with two fans had been listed.
Nvidia's gddr6 reference model gets a maximum boost clock of 1590MHz while the boost clock of the regular GTX 1650 is higher at 1665MHz. Gigabyte's smaller gddr6 model has a boost clock of 1635MHz. The WindForce OC receives a boost clock of 1710MHz. The clock frequency for memory is expected to be 12 Gbps. Summing it up:
- 12.0 GHz GDDR6, 896 shaders at 1590 MHz boost (higher throughput).
- 8.0 GHz GDDR5 and 896 shaders at 1665 MHz boost (higher raw computing power).

GTX 1660 Super | TU116-300 | 1408 | 1785MHz | 6GB gddr6 | 12Gbit / s | 192bit |
GTX 1660 | TU116-300 | 1408 | 1785MHz | 6GB gddr5 | 8Gbit / s | 192bit |
GTX 1650 Super | TU116-250 | 1280 | 1725MHz | 4GB gddr6 | 12Gbit / s | 128bit |
GTX 1650 gddr6 | TU117-300 (?) | 896 | 1590MHz | 4GB gddr6 | 12Gbit / s (?) | 128bit |
GTX 1650 gddr5 | TU117-300 | 896 | 1665MHz | 4GB gddr5 | 8Gbit / s | 128bit |

Yeah i agree , in my opinion if the 1650s was released instead of the 1650 non s the reception would have been much different their price is also so close the. 1650s makes the non s model pointless.
