The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti introduced the new ATX 16-pin power connection for graphics cards, which reduces cable clutter in your chassis while matching the increasing power demands of graphics cards. GALAX introduced the first graphics card with two 16-pin connections and a potential power input capacity of 1200 W.

GALAX's concept of a dual 16-pin connection imply the addition of two cable adapters, for a total of six 8-pin inputs and an input capability of 900 W. The GALAX HOF series is aimed at the pinnacle of the overclocking community, where a consistent power supply is critical to achieving record-breaking OC records. In terms of power restrictions, the GALAX RTX 3090 Ti HOF technically has a power limit of 480 W, but a unique BIOS-based P-mode activates 516 W power limits (which is over the capabilities of three 8-pin connections), thus the choice to use a pair of 16-pin connectors.
