Galax is teasing their new overclocking focused flagship GTX 1080Ti HOF Edition by thrashing the current 3DMark Timespy single GPU record with the card clocked at 2235 MHz.
The card is a successor to their overclocking focused GTX 1080 Hall of fame edition. The Galaxy GeForce 1080 Ti HOF will have a beefy VRM with high quality capacitors, inductors and mosfets. It will also feature special unlocked BIOS for the extreme enthusiasts and overclockers. The card will get the signature TriMax cooler and has a beautiful white PCB.We don't have any information regarding the release date of this card and the price but below you can spot a few sneak peeks of this card and its overclocking capability.

Yes,the card is on LN2.There are two probabilities one is that the record achieved is more efficient than the current timespy record which is 13291 marks and the card was clocked at 2485 Mhz or futuremark is reporting buggy clocks

The 3Ghz clock was not stable for benchmarks and was only enough for a validation. The highest GPU clocks which passed a benchmark was achieved by Vivi on GTX 1060 HOF edition in the Galax Overclocking Carnival 2016.The gpu clocks for this record was 3Ghz on the core and 1900 Mhz on the memory
I presume on air not big deal 2.2GHz for that card because record on LN2 was 3.1GHz i think?
