Cheaper than cheap with its 192 shader processor cores Galax releases a new GeForce GT 710 graphics card. Codenamed GF PGT710-LP/1GD3, this low-profile graphics card is packed with 192 CUDA Cores, a 64-bit memory interface, a core clock of 954MHz and a 1GB of GDDR3 memory set @ 1600MHz.
Utilizing a PCI Express2.0 x16 bus interface, the GF PGT710-LP/1GD3 is built with a single-slot, single-fan cooling system and has a number of output ports including 1x D-Sub, 1x DVI-D and 1x HDMI.
Measuring 144.7mm x 68.91mm x 18.1mm, the GALAX GeForce GT 710 (GF PGT710-LP/1GD3) is available now for a retail price of 4,440 Yen (about $39).

IGP is better these days.
Multi-monitor office setups. Probably the same market segment as the Matrox card with 9 display ports.

there are systems out there that doesn't have integrated graphics.
these type of graphics card can be good for them.

If you need gpu power then you might as well save money and get something many times better for only a fractional price difference, if you will never have the money then buy used and for marginally increased risk get something magnitudes better.
Price to performance ratios on these "GPUs with 20% real GPU" level cards are dire.

For an office environment that doesn't need much graphics processing power but needs multi-display capabilities, these cards make more sense than buying something more expensive. These cards really aren't aimed at people like us....
