Gabe Newell Says Xbox Series X is Better Than PS5
Co-founder of Valve Gabe Newell is stuck in New Zealand (not a bad place to be stuck tbh) due to a Corona quarantine. And that gave him some time for interviews. While doing so he gave made his opinion on the upcoming next-gen console launch known. Appearing on the television program The Project, Newell was asked by one of the hosts which he thinks is better between the Xbox Series X and PS5.
“Uh, the Xbox,” Newell responded plainly. When pressed on why he thought it was a better platform, Newell simply said, “Because it is.” After some laughs were had by the audience, Newell expanded a bit more with, “I don’t have a stake in that race. Obviously, we do most of our development on personal computers. But of the two, I would definitely go with an Xbox.”
Obviously he'll say whatever suits his wallet the best.

I am pretty sure that there are few "exclusives" which are not going to persuade people.
Last of Us was great game which did sold many PS-es. But LoS2 rather pissed a lot of its fan base.
Games from Quantic Dream were total masterpieces and exclusive to PS. But now they come to PC too. And maybe XBox will have them next.

Aww you know I don't mean it, just those two like boxers before a fight, it needs a bit of trash talk there
Maybe you are right, I don't know. I just have the feeling that probably, the experience will be rather comparable. And I could imagine, who bought Xboxes will buy one now too, same with Sony. Because of the stores / accounts and probably exclusives they're used to.
