G.Skill is  excited to announce the release of the Crystal Crown Keycap upgrade set which features a dual-layer design with a fully transparent lower half to enhance the luminosity of LED or RGB backlights of mechanical keyboards. This upgrade set are available in two black and white color options.

I am not sure why this is newsworthy, but besides the fact that it looks like trash, I can't find anywhere any information on the actual material.

It is deliberately missing from the packaging / website / technical info. Most likely, this trash uses a single layer of thin ABS plastic. So not only will they shine brighter than the clown-disco below the keys themselves, the lettering will eventually get erased.

The glorious long term result will be a backlight for all the board chow for you to behold.

A Definite Must Have.

The article has no link to this thread.
Then when I did a search for this thread using words from the article title, no matter what terms I used this thread didnt appear in the results.
ie it cannot be found using search.
Something is strange.
