G.SKILL DDR4 Achieves Memory World Record at 4795.8 MHz

Okay this race is getting a little silly, if you pop in 2133 MHz memory .. it nearly as fast with better latency timings. Ah well, G.SKILL DDR4 memory broke the world record memory frequency at DDR4-4795.8MHz.

Surpassing the previous records at a mind-blowing 4795.8MHz under liquid nitrogen, extreme overclocker Chi-Kui Lam overclocked Ripjaws 4 memory made from Samsung IC to achieve this stunning feat on the new ASRock Z170 OC Formula motherboard and the very latest Intel i7-6700K processor.

Heh, why not ? Who doesn't want to run CPU and RAM at a 1:1 ratio ?

I'm curious to know what the voltage was and what memory ic's were being used on that model of ram..

Also, no Corsair Dominator Platinums? All I see are G.Skill in that list. Corsair needs to step up.
