Well, I'm not sure you're going to see cl 10 at 3800 ever but I've got my G Skill Trident set running at cl 12 at 3600... It needs 1.8v for that but this DDR4 memory loves volts there is no doubt about that. The memory listed in the original post is pretty stunning when you think that they are using only 4 DIMMs to give you 64GB. 14-14-14 is phenomenal.

1.8V for DDR4? The standard is 1.2V with high voltage being 1.35V. You're going to kill either your memory or your memory controller soon enough. 1.8V is just crazy.

What I believe is ridiculous is that OC-ing memory anything above the 2133Mhz standard(for DDR4) is 99.99% pointless from a performance point of view.
Why would anyone bother OC-ing RAM for those 1-2 synthetic benchmarks where even there its gonna show a small increase in performance that in real life translates to 0% extra performance for 99.99% of the people out there ?
I mean ... seriosly ... the only reason I see for buying binned RAM that comes factory OC-ed above the stock 2133Mhz(for DDR4) is so that I can be 100% that if it comes factory at 2400Mhz, 2666Mhz or higher I can be 100% sure that if I lower the speeds from say 2400MHz back down to 2133Mhz its gonna be 100% stable at those lower speeds where the ones that come factory at 2133Mhz speeds might not be that good/stable.

Just buy cheaper RAM and save the money for something else that might actually make a difference in performance.

First, please don't just repeat stuff that you heard someone else say and in your head you think it must be correct.
DDR4 is not like DDR3 and below. It's had some pretty major architectural changes. If you really think that 1.35v is the maximum then why are there so many kits that have recently come out that require 1.4v? You can expect to see 1.5v and 1.6v next year. Many in the OC community are pushing 2.0v+ to get some pretty outrageous numbers and simple air cooling is sufficient (a good memory fan).
As for buying anything above 2133 - sure - the gains are minimal but they are measurable with Skylake and the argument that because they are minimal then people must be idiots to not make the choice you've made is like telling athletes, "hey, why bother putting in all that work to get 1 extra second off your time?"
The fact that you even posted what you did tells me you haven't had a lot of success and I love it that it bugs you enough to actually share your opinion on a topic you aren't interested in.

Finally, it is starting to happen, ddr4 is slowly getting lower latency making a lot more appealing, though i am waiting for something in the neighborhood of cl 10 and around 3800...
