You seriously have no idea how hard it is to reach 2500 MHz on DDR3 in a PC .. so your memory might be able to pull it off, but getting there ? Nearly impossible. None the less, faster is better.
Being part of G.Skills Trident series, a 4GB DDR3 dual-channel kit with a stock frequency of no less than 2,500MH was released. The kit was built in collaboration with ASUS, is meant for desktops based on Intel P55 motherboards and will work best when paired with the Intel Core-i7 860 and 870 central processing units.
The DDR3 kit was subjected to a high number of strict tests on the ASUS P7P55D-E Deluxe and P7P55D-E EVO motherboards. The end-result is, according to the hardware maker,
