Full info on Dell U3415W Appears

Nice, the U3415W has appeared on Dell's website. It's listed on their Hong Kong page now, although it's not yet emerged on the US or UK sites in full although there are user guides and dimensions listed on Dell US. Enter a new dimension of multitasking with a curved monitor that delivers an immersive, panoramic screen that surrounds your senses with amazingly detailed edge-to-edge WQHD (3440x1440) imagery and crystal-clear sound."

You can connect with Mini DisplayPort, HDMI 2.0 to get to full 21:9 aspect ratio.

Spec wise the screen offers a 3440 x 1440 resolution with 60Hz support. The IPS panel offers 8ms G2G response time (normal mode), boosted to 5ms G2G (fast mode). There is a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles and 1.07b colour depth. The screen is standard gamut with a 99% sRGB coverage. The screen also has factory calibration with a deltaE < 3 offered. The stand offers tilt, height and swivel adjustments but no rotation given the size/shape of the screen.

Connectivity wise there are 1x HDMI 2.0, 1x MHL, 1x Mini DisplayPort, 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 1x DisplayPort out and 4x USB 3.0 ports (with 2x USB 3.0 upstream to connect back to 2 PC's). There are also integrated 2x 9W stereo speakers. The U3415W is expected to retail for under $1200 USD when it is released towards the end of this year, or possibly early 2015.
