Free to grab: The Sims 4 is free to claim on Origin
The Sims 4 has been made free to claim in the Origin store for the next week. This giveaway is only for The Sims 4 base game, so there's quite a lot of content available for purchase as expansions and DLC.

The Sims 4 is playable on both Windows as well as macOS, and a free copy can now be claimed by going to its Origin store page. The promotion will be running until May 28, on which the price will return to $39.99.
Note that there currently seem to be some issues with claiming the giveaway through the Origin client, so it's better to grab it using a browser instead.
To grab your free copy of The Sims 4, head over to Origin, log in and claim the game. You can also do this from the Origin client.

Hmm, not really interested in this series. I was always put off by the endless expansions (also I've heard that 4 was bare bones even compared to vanilla 3).

I never made sim people but I always just liked building stuff in these games. (ex wife liked this stuff) Using the Sims isn't the best home builder (many limitations) but it still allows for some easy creativity.
I'm grabbing it just for that.
