HH, anyone know on your end why the front page is changing the underscores to hyphens in the front page and front page comments, as opposed to it properly rendering in the forums?
I hope it's not something that needs a site overhaul or anything, because I love the current site layout and how articles are displayed on the front page, this issue notwithstanding.

for those confused by all the comments above about links working or not working URLs render differently on the news articles compared to on the forums. So if you look on the forums you'll see underscores, on the comments under the posts there will be dashes which don't work.
If the link doesn't work for you replace - with underscores
