On a more helpful note, playing BF4 online nowadays is not a great experience for the newbie.
I used to play years ago and it was fun, I tried it out earlier this year for around 2-3 weeks on a new account and the experience was rarely fun at all. There were moments, but not many.
My main observations would be;
Level 140 try hards who spend the entire round in the same vehicle trying to get 100-0
Cheats, these have become more subtle now and are harder to spot but it doesn't take long before you start to feel something just isn't right.
Silly admin rules / restrictions. These are almost always in place to benefit admins, and rarely to benefit gameplay.

Now, I accept that my age is probably going against me here, I just don't have the same willingness to spend 100 hours catching up as I used to. But this isn't a new game, BF1 and BFV are out there already.
On a final note, this is also just the base game, theres a ton of DLC maps, guns, gadgets not included. God knows why these wouldn't be included as they have been given away for free a number of times before on Origin.
Great game, but theres newer out there, and with no DLC just not worth your time.

While EA doesn't give back mod support, dedicated servers and more freedom in general, Battlefield is dead to me.
I miss the old Vietnam days, lots of mods to try out and really fun to play on dedicated moderated servers.

Don't forget the admins that expect to agree to ridiculous terms and conditions before playing on their server, and, it is up to you to read these before playing. One of recent 'fun' experiences was a server that allowed RPG's, but not shotguns...in LOCKER of all things.

And of course, there are admins that ban all sorts of things, and you typically spawn, get a few kills, then, the admin kills you for having an 'illegal' weapon or fitting. This leads to constantly changing your fitting until the admins doesn't kill you.

I even have been kicked for choosing, daring, having the audacity to have stinger fitted, yet, being on a server that was in TDM mode! Can you imagine my shock at being kick off a TDM server for having a stinger fitted?

BF Admins are overpowered, and this makes the current game overpriced when it is 'free'.

This is kind of questionable, Guru3d advertising a "free" game which requires you to be on subscription.
Come on Hilbert, this is a step further into the rabbit hole.
Soon every product named on the site and forums will be auto-linked to Amazon.
Edit : Damn, giving Hilbert my best ideas.

not forced to click or claim it...
