Fractal Design releases North mid sized tower chassis with natural wood face and mesh panels

Fractal Design yesterday introduced the middle tower PC case North, which includes a sophisticated design and good ventilation. There are two colours available, Charcoal Black and Chalk White, as well as two types of side panel specifications, mesh and tempered glass.

It is a mid-tower type with an open front panel made of walnut or oak natural wood and a smart design with metal buttons, and it is aimed at "reconstructing gaming." In addition to the mesh design on nearly the whole top, the mesh panel model ensures exceptional breathability by opening nearly the entire surface as ventilation holes.

The cooling fan comes standard with Aspect 140 mm PWM fan x 2 at the front, front 120 mm x 3 / 140 mm x 2, top 120 mm / 140 mm x 2, rear 120 mm x 1, and mesh side bracket 120 mm / 140 mm x 2. A total of eight units can be fitted. Water cooling radiators can be installed up to 360mm in front, 240mm in the middle, and 120mm in the back. The drive bay arrangement has three 3.5-inch / 2.5-inch shared bays, two 2.5-inch bays, and seven expansion slots. When the fan is attached, the graphics card can have a total length of up to 355mm, and when the radiator is fitted, it can have a total length of up to 300mm. The CPU cooler can be mounted to a maximum height of 170mm, and the power supply unit can be mounted to a maximum height of 255mm. ATX/MicroATX/Mini-ITX form factors are supported. Front I/O includes USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 3.0, and audio input/output. The dimensions are 215mm wide, 447mm deep, and 469mm high, and it weighs 7.6-7.7kg.
