Fractal Design expands the conventional PC case Define 7 and Meshify 2 with a compact variant called Mini / Nano.

Fractal Design has launched the mini-tower PC cases Define 7 Mini and Meshify 2 Mini, as well as the Mini-ITX compatible PC cases, Define 7 Nano and Meshify 2 Nano.

The Define 7 Mini" series is a small tower PC case from the "Define 7" series that focuses on silence. There are two variants in the lineup: "Define 7 Mini Black Solid," which has a solid panel on the left side, and "Define 7 Mini Black TG Light Tint," which has tempered glass. Front 120mm x 3 or 140mm x 2 cooling fan (Dynamic X2 GP-14 x 1 standard equipment), top 120/140mm x 2, back 120mm x 1 (Dynamic X2 GP-12 x 1 standard equipment), bottom 120mm x 1 cooling fan (Exclusive with HDD cage). There are four expansion slots, a graphics card with a height of 331mm (306mm with a front fan attached), a CPU cooler with a height of 167mm, and a power supply unit with a height of up to 165mm (200mm without an HDD cage).

Drive bays are 2.5/3.5 inch shadow bays x 2, 2.5 inch shadow bays x 4 (2 bays come standard), and I/O ports are USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C x 1, USB 3.0 x 2, USB 2.0 x 2, and an audio connector. The form factor is MicroATX, Mini-ITX, and Mini-DTX, and the exterior dimensions are 205 mm wide, 399 mm deep, and 406 mm tall. The weight is 7.49 kg for the solid variant and 6.84 kg for the tempered glass type.

The Define 7 Nano series is a Mini-ITX compliant PC case from the "Define 7" series that has an emphasis on silence. There are two variants in the lineup: "Define 7 Nano Black Solid," which has a solid panel on the left side, and "Define 7 Nano Black TG Light Tint," which has tempered glass. Front 120/140mm x 2 (standard Dynamic X2 GP-14 x 1), top 120mm x 2 or 140mm thin fan (up to 15mm) x 1, rear 120mm x 1 (standard Dynamic X2 GP-12 x 1), bottom 120mm x 1 (exclusive with HDD cage). There are two expansion slots, with a graphics card measuring 306mm (with front fan mounted), a CPU cooler measuring 167mm, and a power supply unit measuring up to 165mm (200mm without an HDD cage). The drive bays are 2.5/3.5 inch shadow bay x 1, 2.5 inch shadow bay x 3 (2 bays are supplied as standard), while the I/O ports are USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C x 1, USB3.0 x 2, USB2.0 x 2, and an audio terminal. The form factor is Mini-ITX and Mini-DTX, the external dimensions are 205 mm wide, 399 mm deep, and 361 mm tall, and the weight is 7.2 kg for the solid variant and 6.1 kg for the tempered glass type.

The Meshify 2 Mini series is a mini-tower PC case with excellent airflow and square mesh on the front of the Meshify 2 series. There are two models in the lineup: the black "Meshify 2 Mini Black TG dark tint" and the white "Meshify 2 Mini White TG clear tint. Front 120mm x 3 or 140mm x 2 cooling fan (Dynamic X2 GP-14 x 1 standard equipment), top 120/140mm x 2, back 120mm x 1 (Dynamic X2 GP-12 x 1 standard equipment), bottom 120mm x 1 cooling fan (Exclusive with HDD cage). There are four expansion slots, a graphics card with a height of 331mm (306mm with a front fan attached), a CPU cooler with a height of 167mm, and a power supply unit with a height of up to 165mm (200mm without an HDD cage). I was a long time fan of Define series cases, but unfortunately with recent increase in CPU/GPU power consumption, these solid front panel cases aren't good enough any more. Components just cook inside, especially those sandwiched between GPU and CPU, like gen4 NVMe. Now I have Fractal Torrent and what a difference that has made. Even on hot summer days and no AC there are no computer heat problems (except me sweating haha).

and not to be piling on, but triple slot compatibility would've been nice
