Fractal Design Chassis Get a D5 Powered EK Distribution Plate, priced 270 bucks
EK in partnership with Fractal Design, is launching the EK-Quantum Reflection Fractal ATX D5 PWM D-RGB – a custom-designed water cooling reservoir, routing and pump solution made to fit several Fractal Design ATX-size cases.
This distro plate is specifically designed to provide an advanced water cooling solution with a market-leading D5 pump for users who are building custom loop liquid cooling in Fractal Design cases.
Supported Fractal Design cases:
- Define 7
- Define 7 XL
- Define R6
- Define S2
- Vector RS
- Meshify S2
It is designed to simplify the process for beginner PC builders who are entering the hard tubing custom loop liquid cooling world, as well as to bring the slim-lined EK Quantum aesthetics to an already elegant case.
The EK-Quantum Reflection Fractal ATX D5 PWM D-RGB offers an all in one solution that includes a D5 pump, reservoir, simple mounting mechanism, and multiple industry standard G1/4″ threaded inlet and outlets. The placement of these inlets and outlets is perfectly aligned to match other EK cooling components to minimize the number of bends the user has to make when creating the loop. The distro plate can support up to one CPU water block, two GPU blocks, and two radiators.
The radiator compatibility per case is as follows (top+front):
- Define 7 – EK-CoolStream PE 360 + EK-CoolStream SE 240
- Define 7 XL – EK-CoolStream XE 360 or EK-CoolStream CE 420 + EK-CoolStream PE 360
- Define R6 – EK-CoolStream PE 360 + EK-CoolStream PE 240
- Define S2 – EK-CoolStream PE 360 + EK-CoolStream SE 240
- Vector RS – EK-CoolStream PE 360 + EK-CoolStream SE 240
- Meshify S2 – EK-CoolStream PE 360 + EK-CoolStream SE 240
The plate is selling at 270 EUR or 290 USD.

At first I was wondering why comments were saying it's overpriced considering every PC part is insultingly overpriced these days, then I realized it's just the reservoir, pump, and tubes.

Not even the tubes, its the reservoir and pump.
These are pure vanity products, its mostly for the looks of the build, its low volume and they produce a lot of their stuff in Europe which has high cost and overall their products are high quality - thus the high prices for most of their stuff.
I have a Meshify S2 and was thinking about a nice distro like this, but since I cba with hard tubing and it doesn't make much sense to use with soft, its a nice option to have there, maybe get it at a 50% discount?
I did manage to buy a RTX 2080 / 2080ti waterblock for like 65euros at a discount so there's bargains to be had

P.S. and distros with D5 are hard to come by, so there's that too

P.P.S I was checking the compatibility list, just FYI the Meshify S2 fits 2x SE360 rads and maybe even a PE up top and a SE in the front, they have a few mm to spare for clearance but the fittings need to go at the other ends. Probably the other cases fit 2x SE360 aswell if fittings are sorted properly

Now this is a piece of excessive hardware that is expensive. At least the EK mono block people were complaining about in price served a true purpose as opposed to this over priced shtuff....
