Alleged synthetic test results for AMD's RX 7900 XT and RX 7900 XTX have leaked. It is 4k and 1440p tests from Time Spy and Fire Strike tests / 3DMark.

In TimeSpy, the RX 7900 XTX trails the RTX 4080 by 2% at 4K Extreme, while the 4080 is around 10% quicker at 1440p resolution. Surprisingly, there is nearly no difference between the 7900 XTX and XT at 4K. However, the dissimilarity expands to 4% with the 1440p preset.  Although the RX 7900 XT performs almost as well as the RTX 4080, its bigger sibling scores 10% higher than the RTX 4080 in Fire Strike, based on the older DirectX11 API. Additionally, the performance gap between the RTX 4090 and the RX 7900 XTX is narrower in this benchmark, with NVIDIA gaining an advantage of 32.2% (4k) and 21.2% (1440p), respectively.

It's not clear whether the tests were run with fully-fledged drivers, but these scores are at least in line with AMD's claims that the RX 7900 series should compete with the RTX 4080. AMD has announced suggested retail prices of $899 and $999 for the two RX 7000 GPUs, equivalent to roughly 1,049 and 1,159 euros depending on VAT.
