Latest Update: Mon, 09 November 2020

A fire accident occurred in MSI Baoan factory in Shenzhen on November 5th afternoon. MSI activated its emergency measures and notified the fire department to deal with it immediately. No injuries were caused and the production line was not damaged. In the future, MSI will continue to strengthen the education and training of personnel. At present, all units are operating normally. Thank you for your concern.

Bloomberg writes that MSI mainly manufactures PCBs at a factory. This would include laptops, motherboards, servers, video cards and vehicle electronics. Since it appears to be a large factory, there is a chance that it will affect the stock of the various products.

Here we go again: whenever the companies deem the time to raise prices has come, there is a fire in their "plants", or a flood, or an earthquake, or tsunami, or origami, or corona, or Ramona, oh porca madonna...

Despite that, if i were MSI i would take the train and rise the price... it have worked with Intel, AMD and NVidia in the past...
We already have "Covid logistic impact" "so called "Trump tax" that Biden find very nice for now" etc etc etc... A fire is a good reason to rise price if you need money lol.
