We review frame-pacing and frame time behavior with the Radeon RX 480, but will compare it with the GeForce GTX 1060, will FCAT reveal some stuff we need to know?

Check out the full article right here.

hanks for the time and effort Hilbert, nicely done as always :)
those FCAT tests are really something. a more professional perspective on how those two cards behave in real time :nerd:

Rather a let down result for amd in aots, being its heavily sponsored game but can't achieved smooth frame time like nvidia.

With this chart, lower = better. Huge spikes above 40 ms to 50 ms can be considered a problem like a stutter or indicate a low frame-rate.

Though in their defense, none of that is really visible on screen.

Sooooo, where is this VISUAL frame time discrepancy?

Isn't that a DEVIL RX 480 ?

Review coming soon I guess

Yes correct the RX480 Red Devil .. though I am awaiting a new BIOS for that one. Hope to have a review up by end of week or early next week.
