Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine delayed far into 2021

Ubisoft delayed two of its significant releases scheduled to later in 2021. Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine will be released in sometime between April and September next year.



The games were delayed "to realize their full potential in a context of production challenges caused by COVID-19 ," Ubisoft's Yves Guillemot said in a press release. The original release date for Far Cry 6 was for February 18, 2021 , while Rainbow Six Quarantine did not have a specific date, but was scheduled for this fiscal year, sometime before March 31, 2021.

“While we know that everyone is eager to get their hands on Far Cry 6,” a tweet from the game's official account reads , “we want to inform you that they have given us more time to allow us to make this the game they aspire to play. at the same time that we focus on the well-being of our teams given this unprecedented global context ”.
