Far Cry 5 Sees New Gameplay Footage

Watch new  gameplay footage of Far Cry 5 as our developers take you deeper into the world of Hope County, game features, toys, and of course, Boomer.

Said silent-coup swiftly turns into a violent take-over and war between the cult and a resistance group. Your job is to help liberate Hope County. Far Cry 5 is poised to release on February 27, 2018 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. It will notably support PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

Repetitive gameplay aside, I really like the setting and the potential is there for some beautiful visuals. Of course I will not get it at launch though, but half a year to a year after when all DLC is out. :rolleyes:

I hate how these gameplay trailers for AAA games are scripted to the smallest degree. This isnt a movie, just shoot bad guys like you were rambo and explode some stuff! Videogames are a escape from boring reality!

Kind of deviates from the spirit of Far Cry games. Which always took place in exotic locations. This probably first FC game which I am not excited about.

I'd take Montana over some failed African state any day. I really hated that about Far Cry 2 (among other things).
