Expert Oriented GeForce GTX 980 Ti DuraPro Graphics Card Released

Asia based Expert Oriented (based in the orient muahahah) released their GeForce GTX 980 Ti DuraPro Graphics Card. Tagged under SKU code DURAPRO-GTX980Ti-6GB this performance graphics card is built with 2816 CUDA Cores, a 384-bit memory interface, a core clock of 1190MHz (reference 1000MHz), a boost clock of 1291MHz (reference 1075MHz) and a 6GB of GDDR5 memory set @ 7010MHz.

Utilizing a PCI-Express3.0 x16 bus interface, the card holds a dual 100mm fan cooling system and provides a number of output ports including 1x DVI-I, 1x HDMI and 3x DisplayPort.

The Expert Oriented GeForce GTX 980 Ti DuraPro (DURAPRO-GTX980Ti-6GB) will hit the market from mid February.

You have to pass an expert exam before buying the card. They won't ship it to you until you provide proof that you are a true expert.

Just from a visual POV this card looks bad, the fact that I never heard of the company before doesn't help either.

What I meant is, what is the actual difference between this 980Ti and a MSI 980Ti Gaming for instance, that's what I don't get. If it's the same chip, same vram, same board, why should any professional take this card over a better cooler card (Asus, MSI, for instance).

(Never mind that most 980Ti sales these days are SLI users ditching their 970s/980s, and most likely not many more sales besides that.)

Well, it's probably not the same board at least...
