EVGA SuperNOVA NEX1500 Classified PSU review

We review the EVGA SuperNOVA NEX1500 Classified PSU. The monster of a 1500 Watt PSU is massive in performance and features. It's the most versatile and feature rich power supply we have ever put our hands on. Is not only is Gold certified but comes with a configurable rails system, monitoring software and looks to kill for with individually sleeved cables. But is it for everybody?

That is an amazing PSU. Complete overkill even for 99% of enthusiasts but it is gorgeous.

Excellent review Hilbert. As hallryu stated, this power supply is total overkill for 99% of people out there. I've been playing around with this unit for about a week now and it's a solid design. EVGA did an excellent job on this one. In case anyone is wondering, I do have a load tester that will properly test power supplies and even take them to their limits if need be. This particular unit that I have "can" pull about 16 amps (15.62A to be precise) before OCP will trip. Milage will vary on other units. If my math is correct, that's is about 1880w. This is the only PSU I have ever tested that has gone +200w past is max wattage and managed to survive. :nerd:

Monster PSU that. I'd go for that now if I was in the market for one similar to mine, the cabling is just beautiful.

Wow that is one killer PSU. I love EVGA products and they have done it again here, I'm in love.

Surely an impressive PSU and has great looks.

Still I love my 4year old Toughpower 1500w.
