NVIDIA is prepping a 12 GB version of the GeForce RTX 3080, which will slot between the existing RTX 3080 (10 GB) and the RTX 3080 Ti.

The graphics card shown above is the EVGA RTX 3080 12GB FTW3 Ultra makes use of the GA102 GPU, which has 8960 CUDA cores and has been improved. It's the RTX 3080's memory subsystem, however, that's seen the most substantial improvement, which now has an additional 2GB of capacity. Increased CPU count and VRAM capacity will necessitate the use of more electricity. The new model comes with a default TDP of 350W, an increase over the previous model's TDP of 320W. Naturally, these are NVIDIA reference requirements, and the FTW3 Ultra model is almost guaranteed to outperform them in every way. NVIDIA will unveil the RTX 3080 12GB graphics card today.
