EVGA GeForce GTX 780 with 6GB Available

EVGA has added a SKU in their GeForce GTX 780 line-up, this model comes with 6 GB of graphics memory making the card a bit more future proof allowing more eye candy and UHD resolutions a notch better. The new EVGA GeForce GTX 780 6GB cards feature 2,304 processing cores, 6GB of high-speed GDDR5 memory and NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology, giving you the performance capabilities you need at extreme settings. These new cards with 6GB of memory are optimised for the latest games running at high resolution and detail settings.

The EVGA GeForce GTX 780 6GB is more than just fast and smooth. It’s perfectly tuned to today’s most advanced gaming technologies with features such as NVIDIA GeForce Experience for one-click driver and settings optimisation, plus NVIDIA PhysX and TXAA for smooth, sharp graphics.

Unless one gets 2 cards, the 6GB vram is not really future proof, since one card will run out of horsepower before vram...

My dreamcard right would be a 780Ti with 4-5 GB vram, even though I know that it's not possible it would be a nice balance. I like how AMD handled it with R290/290X.

They should have brought these out with the original 780 launch. With Maxwell on the horizon this card will have limited appeal now IMO..
