European Pricing for AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D: Early Listings and Estimated Cost
Gamers and tech enthusiasts eagerly anticipating the release of the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D will be pleased to know that its launch date of April 6th is just around the corner. While the US launch price has been confirmed at $449, European pricing has not yet been officially announced by AMD, however it's spotted at 530 euro.
However, some early listings have emerged, indicating that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D could cost €530 in Europe. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D features 8 cores and 16 threads, a single CCD with 3D V-Cache, and does not have the asymmetric chiplet design of the other two SKUs. According to AMD's handpicked benchmarks, this CPU can be up to 24% faster than the Intel Core i9-13900K in certain games and up to 30% faster than its predecessor, the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the most affordable part of the X3D family and is expected to be the most exciting SKU for gamers. Its official launch is eagerly awaited, and independent media tests will soon reveal its true performance capabilities. Meanwhile, early listings suggest that the CPU could cost around €530 in Europe, although prices may vary depending on the retailer and other factors.
This estimated price aligns with Computerbase's prediction of €509, based on the two other SKUs in the X3D family, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and the Ryzen 9 7900X3D, are both 13% more expensive in Europe. Videocardz has reported that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D has already been listed in Slovenia at €530, while a German store has it listed at €607, which is slightly more expensive.
To glimpse the processor capabilities, we posted a preview here with a single CCD disabled on the Ryzen 9 7950X3D.

The value on these processors are pretty poor. Then again they do serve a particular niche. I'll be picking this proc up when it comes on sale in the UK and get it shipped to my country (we have no online retailer that serves the enthusiast market). Overall though if gaming isn't your thing Intel or the non-X AMD processors are the better deal, I think.

With numbers like these, I'm sure to not buy one tbh.
