EU prices listed - AMD Ryzen 7 1800X To Cost 628 EUR
So we have seen several prices for AMD Ryzen already. This time in the Eu they surfaced in price listing as well. A Belgian online retailer has started taking preorders for Ryzen CPUs.
You will notice two SKU codes per Ryzen CPU, likely with and withouth CPU cooler. As expected AMD is to launch only the 8-core parts first, there are no entries found on Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 3.
Also it seems AMD has dropped the Ryzen R7 identifier to just Ryzen 7.
centralpoint.be (they have now taken down the listing) also shows that the SKUs listed below should be in stock on February 28th.
Model SKU | Price w/o VAT | Price with 21% VAT |

Oh if the IPC is on par with Broadwell-e than that's very good. It would be a solid buy and Intel would have to drop some of their prices is my guess.
Still, quad channel memory on -E Intels is nice.
The quad channel is indeed better when doing some harder work loads. Not by much but still

We have to love 4 cores like a mother loves her child.
Are you talking from your own experience?, because you have been using nothing more than a glorified quad core tweaked to better use its cores.
Show off tuned four banger:
