Entry-level Radeon RX 6500XT and RX 6400 RDNA2 based Graphics cards listed with 4GB GDDR6 (updated)
Navi 24 might soon see the light of day. Japanese leaker dataminer @KOMACHI ENSAKA claims to have discovered the first listings for the Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards, which have not yet been launched.
According to a series of tweets from KOMACHI, there are listings for Radeon RX 6500XT and RX 6400 SKUs with 4GB of GDDR6 memory available on the market. His statement is vague as to where those listings might be obtained (for example, on a webstore or a manufacturer's website). Such a claim, on the other hand, would imply that AMD has developed its first RDNA2 GPUs with a memory capacity less than 8GB (RX 6600XT). So there has been no clarification as to how or from where the two video cards have emerged, but the leaker has revealed they will contain 4GB of GDDR6 RAM each. Navi 24 would get 16 compute units that are 1024 stream processors at the most.
It is not known when AMD plans to release its Navi 24 graphics cards.
Update: Navi 24 and mobile graphics accelerators based on it already receive driver support in Linux. The Radeon RX 6500M and RX 6300M models are already included in the driver, and the performance class will also appear as a Pro / Workstation solution. There are no further technical details, but the picture of the new, even smaller RDNA-2 graphics cards comes together piece by piece.

its not enought even for 1080p. 4gb = low/medium textures.

Even if they aren't suitable for mining, the general market situation would likely drag their prices up. With most cards out of the budget of regular folks, any card with a humane price would see extra demand, even if it wasn't satisfactory under normal circumstances. Consequently stores are likely to raise its price to fall in line with the rest of the selection. Of course if that stops it from selling, we might see its price fall before the other cards. Currently it seems like nobody expects graphics card prices to drop to sensible levels even in 2022. That's natural, of course, with the EU and USA doing nothing about the crypto.

4GB, and still using AMD's sub-par GPU encoding tech, no thanks.

Depending on a game , most GPUs with 4GB don't have power to run high . And most game it is still cutting it ( even on 1440p).
Even demaning game like RDR2 doens't have problem with 4GB on 1080p.

290X 4GB here. I have to agree. Though it's still just enough to hang in there until the market collapses or the world ends.
