Entire Intel 12th Generation Core Line Retail Pricing in the United States Leaked

Yesterday we already reported the price for the Core i9-12900K at 605 USD, however other SKUs now seem to get listed at US etailers as well. Price lists for both boxed and tray (per-piece) items were made available to the public.

The Core i5-12600KF boxed processor, which starts at $261.77 and is a 6+4 core (P+E), 16-thread processor with 20 MB of L3 cache and a maximum boost frequency of 4.90 GHz for the P cores, is the first in the lineup. Because it is a "KF" SKU, it does not have an integrated graphics processor. The i5-12600K, which has the same specifications as the i5-12600K but also includes an integrated graphics processor (iGPU), is priced at $295.49.

In terms of performance, the Core i7-12700KF and i7-12700K are 8+4 core (P+E), 20-thread processors with 25 MB of cache and a maximum boost clock of 5.00 GHz. The difference between the two is the integrated graphics processing unit (iGPU). The i7-12700KF has a price of $395.61, while the i7-12700K has a price of $422.17.

The Core i9-12900K and i9-12900KF are the top of the line processors, as they push the limits of the silicon with an 8+8 (P+E) core, 24 threads, and 30 MB of cache. These can enhance frequencies up to 5.20 GHz,.

The i9-12900KF is available for $578.13, while the i9-12900K is available for $604.99. The pricing of these chips on the tray is more or less the same, with the difference in price being less than $5.

Because the boxed SKUs do not include a cooler, the price difference reflects solely the cost of the paperboard box, according to the bill of materials for the product. In late October, Intel is scheduled to officially unveil these processors, with retail availability expected in mid-November.

Considering the clocks aren't higher than that, perhaps Intel indeed managed to gain a significant IPC boost. That ought to be the most welcome news to anyone planning to build a new PC.

Looks alright if the performance is there.

Pricing seems OK. I'm interested in seeing performance and power consumption/heat.

I'm gonna start building rig in few weeks, i'll start with everything but the cpu and mobo and hope by November we have these 12 series, i'd even wait till december but no later.
I'd get a nice i5 for gaming.
either that or a 10900k, big fan of those.

Just save your money and buy everything at once. If something is bad, you won't know until the seller return period is over, and you will be stuck waiting weeks for a manufacturer warranty replacement.
