Enermax Liqmax 120 AIO liquid cooler released
Enermax extends their all-in-one liquid cooler range with two entry-level models. The new Liqmax series provides the perfect balance between performance capability and efficiency. Enermax has integrated technologies and functions of the high-end Liqtech cooler series in order to achieve maximum cooling performance for strong multi-core processors.
Inside the characteristic water block with the blue illuminated logo on the top operates a low-noise pump with durable ceramic bearing. The most essential component for the heat dissipation is the cold plate. The manufacturer relies on the patented Shunt Channel Technology: A wide channel breaks through the standard micro-fin structure. That way, Enermax is able to boost the liquid flow rate and increase the performance capability. In contrast to the Liqtech coolers, the new Liqmax comes with an extruded cold plate which reinforces the contact with the CPU and enhances the heat transfer.
Enermax applies quality materials and components: The tubes are made from a robust and at the same time flexible synthetic (FEP Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene), which effectively eliminates the evaporation of the cooling fluid. Both models of the Liqmax series are delivered with one 12cm Twister bearing fan. Depending on the individual taste and requirements, users can choose between a cool blue illuminated T.B.Apollish Advance fan (model ELC-LM120S-TAA) and a powerful Twister Pressure fan (model ELC-LM120S-HP). Latter one has been specially designed for CPU coolers and radiators. The special shape of the fan blades and the sturdy, vibration-free material allow for a high-pressure air flow and a better balance between cooling performance and noise generation. The T.B.Apollish Advance therefore improves the visual appearance of the system. It is based on the patented LED technology from Enermax and provides the brand-new Sparkle effect which will be implemented into future case fans as well. Both models are equipped with the innovative "Adjustable Peak Speed" (APS) function which enables the selection of three different RPM ranges: You can choose between the Silent, Performance or Overclock mode according to your system configuration. Within the selected mode, the speed is controlled automatically via pulse-width modulation (4P PWM connection).
Compact Design & Universal Mounting System
Due to the compact-size of the 120mm radiator, the Liqmax cooler can be installed in smaller midi towers as well. Usually, it will be mounted at the position of the rear fan. The easy and user-friendly mounting system supports all latest AMD® and Intel® platforms (Intel® 775/1150/1155/1156/1366/2011 & AMD® AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM1/FM2/FM2+).
Availability and Prices
Enermax introduces two Liqmax models with a Twister Pressure fan (ELC-LM120S-HP) or with a blue illuminated T.B.Apollish Advance fan (ELC-LM120S-TAA). The MSRP incl. VAT for each model: 69.90 Euro incl. VAT. The Enermax Liqmax is now on sale.

I'm still looking to build a PC for livingroom which I could use with TV or with PC monitor. It does not need to have a massive case, some small case would work as long as it has space for a bit longer GPU. Something like this for the CPU would not take too much space so thats one problem solved, mATX mobo, external soundcard, or just with HDMI to receiver... It does sound tempting.
Yes these 120*120mm AIO watercoolers are a bit gay compared to 120.3 rad + other proper stuff, but these seem to have some reason to exist.

Just a trend in some the reviews I've seen. The i7's seem to be running hotter with it. But maybe it's due to O/c'ing, not sure.
