Nanya Technology, the fourth largest memory module producer in the world, predicts that ram prices will decline again in the near future.

Pei-Ing Lee, a renowned researcher, has predicted that memory prices will rebound in the fourth quarter of this year. This is partly attributable to the fact that suppliers are stockpiling higher quantities of inventory in order to avoid shortages. Furthermore, he anticipates that the demand for memory will decline in the next months, resulting in a decrease in the average price.

This is not only wonderful news for PC manufacturers, but it also has implications for other industries, such as the smartphone business. Only the graphics processing unit (GPU) market does not appear to be benefiting from the trend. Because of shortages in other areas, manufacturing a video card will continue to be an expensive endeavor for the foreseeable future.
