Gorgeous design, Elecom releases a Wireless LAN Repeater WTC-733HWH2. Designed to extend the radio range of the wireless LAN into out-of-reach areas of the home, the WTC-733HWH2 comes with an AC plug (can be attached directly to a wall outlet) and a WPS button, and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 300Mbps and 5GHz – 433Mbps).
Corresponding to the ‘Draft 11ac’ (the new standard for Wireless LAN IEEE802.11ac), the WTC-733HWH2 provides security through encryption using WPA2-PSK (AES), WPA-PSK (TKIP/AES) and WEP (128-bit and 64-bit).
Measuring W68mm x D30mm x H98mm and weighing 97 grams, the Elecom WTC-733HWH2 will begin shipping from late March for 7,603 Yen (about $67).
